Use Safety Gaps for water softener, back-washing filter, and reverse osmosis system installations when their discharge hoses terminate at a floor drain receptor. With applicable discharge hoses, a minimum 1.5" air gap must be maintained above the Flood Level Rim. Model DC-225-400 is adjustable to 4" and is recommended for flow rates up to 8 gpm.
